THE KBC
Phase
II of the KBC will include a 7,000-seat Worship Arena, performing
arts center, Kingdom Builders’ Prayer Institute with
a dedicated prayer room, chapel, ministry rooms and teaching
space, and administrative offices.
How

at the Kingdom Builders’ Center.
The
Center has two levels.
The first level encompasses:

Children’s educational wing – a learning center
for kindergartners through fifth graders who will benefit
from a partnership with the HISD elementary school to ensure
that children get the best out of their initial educational
experience and to develop healthy attitudes about school
- Nursery
– a nurturing and care center for infants and toddlers
that will offer activities aimed at growing young minds
and bodies and giving them a positive start in life
- Aquarium
– an oversized tank of rare and unusual fish of all
varieties for education and fun to be designed, developed
and maintained by the University of Texas
- Carousel
– a merry-go-round for children of all ages
- Recreation
center – a gymnasium for indoor sports and health
and fitness activities as well as a site for intergenerational
and family games, activities and events
- Conference
center – community space large-size gatherings or
smaller meetings
- M.D.
Anderson Therapeutic Play and Learn Center – a space
designed to provide appropriate resources to facilitate
normal child development and alleviate or prevent abnormal
behaviors in children in a safe, child-friendly, parent-involved
play environment

Party room – a special place for children’s
birthday parties and celebrations
- Climbing
gym – a space where children can have fun, get fit
and develop healthy exercise habits
- Arcade
– a place for parents and children to participate
in parent-approved, dexterity-enhancing games
The
second level includes:

Youth education wing – a learning center for youths
in grades six through 12 that provides opportunities for
after-school tutoring, study, life-skills training and educational
activities

Adult education wing – a development center for adults
offering life-skills classes, GED and college-level instruction,
parenting education, computer lab and courses, career counseling,
ESL classes, entrepreneurship coaching, financial planning,
study stations, activity space, seminars and workshops,
and other services for growing adults

Aerobics and exercise room – health and fitness space
for physical and educational classes
- Hang
Time Lounge – a special place for teens offering healthy
extracurricular options including games, big screen television
viewing, food, computers, and organized activities
- Library
– education and resource center for youths and adults

Growth and development center – adult counseling area
with playrooms, workrooms and classrooms for individuals
and support groups
